Proposed Residential Trip 2018 (Current Year 5 Children)
Dear Parents
Re Outdoor Residential 4th June 2018 (Current Year 5)
Unfortunately this year there was not enough interest from parents for the current Year 6 to attend an Outdoor Adventure Residential.
If there is enough interest from parents this year, a residential can be secured for next year, however as a school we need to commit 12 months in advance.
The cost of the planned residential to Bryntysilio Monday 4th June 2018- Friday 8th June 2018 would cost £293.00, plus the cost of the coach. (I am sure children would be able to fundraise the cost of the travel during the course of the year.)
Although this represents significant value for a full residential, the children do get to experience a wide range of activities including climbing, caving, canoeing and abseiling.
As we now have an online payment system, the cost of the trip can be paid for in instalments over the course of the year. I will also provide information for all parents to seek financial assistance towards the cost of the trip from ‘The Fishley Trust’.
In order for the school to secure a booking for next year, I do need a strong indicator as to the number of children who would be attending.
Unfortunately, if there is not enough interest at this stage, I will be unable to secure our booking.
Please return the slip below to indicate your intention by Thursday 25th May. (At this point I am not seeking a deposit)
Kind regards
Mr M Dakin
