Makaton- Parent Workshop

Cadmus Inclusive

Thinking differently for a brighter tomorrow...

Discover how Makaton can support communication, understanding and connection at home.

Join us for a friendly and practical Makaton Workshop for Parents and Caregivers, designed to introduce you to Makaton and show you how simple signs and symbols can be used in everyday life.

What is Makaton?

Makaton is a communication programme that uses signs, symbols and speech together to help people communicate. It can support children and adults who have difficulty understanding or expressing themselves, while also helping those around them communicate more clearly.

🏡 How can Makaton help at home?

During the workshop, you'll learn how Makaton can be used in everyday situations. You'll have the opportunity to learn some useful signs and practise them in a relaxed and supportive environment.

✨ Come along and discover how small changes can make communication easier, more enjoyable and more meaningful at home.
